CDL Driver (Class A or B)

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary
Select Maintenance is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A or B) to support roadway, utility, traffic signal, and infrastructure projects throughout the Houston area. This position is responsible for transporting equipment and materials, operating construction equipment as needed, and supporting field crews in the safe execution of project work.
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport equipment and materials to job sites
- Load and unload equipment from trucks and trailers
- Operate construction equipment including bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and digger derricks as needed
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
- Assist field crews with construction, maintenance, and repair activities
- Follow MUTCD standards and company safety requirements
- Maintain required licenses, certifications, and training
- Use proper PPE and safe work practices at all times
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas CDL Class A or B License
- Minimum 8 years of construction, utility, traffic signal, signage, or related experience
- Familiarity with MUTCD standards
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be insurable

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work at heights exceeding 15 feet
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
