Job Title: Field Survey Technician

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (additional hours as needed)

Position Overview

Ragle Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Field Survey Technician to join our Texas Heavy Highway Division in the Houston area. This role is ideal for someone who is team-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to grow within a company that offers strong advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform construction layout for roads, bridges, and grading
  • Verify accuracy of field survey data
  • Conduct topographic and as-built surveys
  • Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Safely operate and maintain survey equipment, tools, and vehicles
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience as a Survey Technician
  • Strong understanding of TXDOT plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction practices (industrial experience is a plus)
  • Experience with GPS, robotic, and machine control equipment
  • Working knowledge of field survey methods and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
